مداحی مرحوم حاج سلیم موذن زاده was a renowned Iranian reciter who excelled in singing elegies in Turkish, Persian, and Arabic languages. Born in 1315 solar year in the Tazehshahr neighborhood of Ardabil, he was well-versed in Persian and Arabic in addition to his Turkish Azerbaijani recitations. His father, Abdolkarim Moazenzadeh Ardabili, was the first radio muezzin in Iran, and his brother, Rahim Moazenzadeh Ardabili, is also an Islamic reciter.
Throughout his youth and middle age, Moazenzadeh Ardabili dedicated himself to reciting elegies and singing in mosques and Hussainiyas in Ardabil, Tabriz, and later in Tehran during the last decades of his life. He passed away at the age of 80 due to old age.
